I don't wear makeup. Do I need a cleansing balm?
It's not just for makeup. Sunscreen, sebum, sweat and city particulates all sit on skin, and a balm removes them without stripping. It also works as a plain wash on days you don't need the heavy lifting.
Is it greasy? That's my main worry.
No. The essence is an essence texture, not a cream — it absorbs in seconds and dries down matte. One pump is enough for the whole face; two only if you've just shaved.
Will the essence sting after shaving?
It's alcohol-free, which is what usually causes the sting in aftershaves. Centella and panthenol are in there specifically to keep post-shave skin comfortable.
